General Program Information and Requirements for Players:
Registration:
Our registration is exclusively on-line, with over 1000 participants it is the most effective way for us to provide that service. We do not store any credit card information on-line as it is handled through a secure on-line merchant account. Prior to the start of the season/travel team rosters are released, if you need to cancel your registration, we will refund your credit card minus the $3 processing fee.
Seasons:
The Spring Season generally starts the first weekend in April, depending on the weather. There are 6-8 weeks with our annual Soccerfest, which concludes the season.
The Fall Season is also 6-8 weeks and generally starts the second weekend in September, depending on the weather.
Equipment:
All players must wear shin guards and soccer socks that fully cover their shin guards. Soccer shoes are recommended for traction, but not required. Players should also bring a water bottle, and soccer ball.
Micro through U8 play with size 3 soccer ball, U10 through U12 play with size 4 soccer ball, U14 and up play with size 5 soccer ball. Dicks Sporting Goods usually has good starter packages of equipment available.
Uniforms
Uniforms are not included in registration fee and must be purchased online at https://svsa.spiritsale.com/ You can try on uniforms for sizing purposes at Play2Wear at 20636 Rte 19 Suite B, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066. Phone is (724) 473-8470.
Equipment not permitted listed below is for all players safety - this is dictated by the PAWest and FIFA Rules of the Game:
NO BASEBALL CLEATS ARE ALLOWED
NO JEWELRY IS ALLOWED TO BE WORN
HOODED SWEAT SHIRTS WORN UNDER SOCCER JERSEY ARE NOT PERMITTED
Any players that arrive at the field with these items, will need these equipment problems corrected before entering the field of play.
